From our co-chairs: Wake County Deserves Choices

If you had to sum up the benefits of passing the public transportation referendum in just one word what would it be?

Choices.

Too many Wake County residents can’t rely on public transportation to get to school or work, or complete their daily tasks.  With Wake County growing by 64 people every day, our public transportation system just doesn't give us enough choices for our growing county.

Passing the referendum will fund a bipartisan transit plan that will relieve traffic congestion and give us real choices for public transportation. Even if you’re not taking the train or bus, others will be – and that takes more cars off of our roads.  Wake County is a modern county – and it deserves a modern transportation system.

Wake County deserves choices.
